Luminous Polished Nickel pendant hardware reflects the shimmering surface of the prismatic glass Holophane shade. A sharp transition from square to round distinguishes this unique original Holophane shade pendant. The tapered skirt has a ribbed prismatic pattern, while a more complex crosscut pattern adorns the rounded upper section.
Originally manufactured in the USA (OH/PA/WV) from the 1920’s1950’s, they were used to illuminate our U.S. factories, gymnasiums, power plants, etc.
The marks / imperfections inherent in the glass after decades of use attest to their durability and history.
