Greek Key Alabaster Family Lighting from Brass Light Gallery
The Greek Key pattern is an enduring decorative border with roots in ancient Greece and China. The geometric and repeated continuous lines evoke the twists and turns of formal labyrinths and were important symbols of unity and infinity. The classic Greek Key design motif was revived as an architectural element in the late 18th Century and remains a handsome architectural pattern for wallpaper, woodwork, tile, and fine fabric. Our Greek Key Pendant features a smooth alabaster bowl with an austere Greek Key design carved into the band. Modeled after a vintage 1905 antique alabaster fixture, our Greek Key alabaster bowls are available four sizes. The petite 12 inch diameter alabaster bowls are the perfect light fixture where space is tight: bedrooms with lower ceilings, smaller powder rooms, or narrow hallways. The medium 16 inch and 19 inch alabaster bowls are a great choice for transitional lighting, and the large 24 inch alabaster bowl is an impressive light fixture over conference tables and dining room tables.
